It’s a full slate of local basketball games this week with several of the top teams in Cecil County going head-to-head.

After a 41-19 loss to Harford Tech last week, the North East girls team is eager to get back on the court and will do so Thursday hosting Elkton at 7 p.m.

Katy Hammer and Maddy Tadalan scored 7 points each for the Lady Indians Friday and matching up with guards Akirah Wats, Payton Hardy, Mikayla Jefferson and LeeAnn Pugh of Elkton should be a real treat for local fans to watch. Elkton is coming off a 40-18 win over Joppatown.

In other girls basketball action Thursday, Bohemia Manor will be hosting Fallston High School. On Friday, the boys teams have a trio of local contests led by Perryville hosting North East and Rising Sun hosting Bohemia Manor at 7 p.m.

Perryville is coming off a 80-45 thrashing of Tome Academy. Rising Sun girls won Thursday over Perrville 55-47.

Elkton is also in action as they host Aberdeen.
