The starting picher held Bohemia Manor down for six innings, allowing just four hits and striking out three before departing with a one-run lead. His effort helped the Panthers earn an eventual 6-3 win in the 1A East Region Section I semifinals on Saturday as they snapped a 19-game losing streak to the arch rival dating back to 2012.

The freshman pitcher proved her worth over a 24-hour period, entering in relief and helping the Indians win a pair of home playoff games. On Tuesday, she threw the final four innings while only allowing one run as the Indians erased a 9-2 deficit in a 12-10 victory over North Harford. One day later, she gave up two runs over five-plus innings with seven strikeouts to pick up the win over Elkton.
