ELKTON — Work from Cecil County’s scientists of tomorrow will be on display next week for the annual Capstone Gallery Walk with Cecil County Public Schools.

On Tuesday, May 27, students will present projects from STEM Academy and Project Lead the Way at Elkton High School from 5 to 7 p.m. The public is invited to stop by and view the projects and talk with the students about their research findings.

This year will feature more than 100 projects, each representing the culmination of a graduating student’s research.

In the past, the STEM capstones – or research projects focusing on a field of science, technology, engineering and math – have involved studying DNA, creating a new invention and partnering with educators from regional colleges.
