This past October, the Perryville Lions Club was at the Charlestown and Perryville Elementary Schools to perform vision screening for students. The screenings were authorized by the Cecil County School Board. Screenings were administered to Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade students.

Members of the Club tested students with a special camera to detect any issues that may be present with their sight. This information is then forwarded to the parents to enable them to get their child checked by eye specialists.
