NORTH EAST — William "Dayle" DiVirgilio of North East, MD passed away on December 7, 2021, surrounded by his family. Dayle was born on April 6, 1942, to the late William 'Pete' and Elizabeth Ann DiVirgilio.

Dayle retired from Delmarva Power and Light after thirty-one years as a Lineman and Troubleshooter. Dayle was an avid duck carver, fisherman and hunter. He was a former member of Mill Creek Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Mary (Flanagan) and his children, Dawn Rowold (David) of Piedmont, MO, William Peter (Deb) of Port Deposit, MD, Elizabeth Bilinsky (Mark) of Newark, DE and Katherine Kangas of Virginia, MN; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; his siblings, Scarlette Pichule, Olden DiVirgilio, Peggy Smith and Yolanda DiVirgilio.

Services will be private.
