Ottis Allen Cline, age 42, of Wilmington, DE, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.

Known by his middle name, Allen was a talented hair stylist. He was the owner/operator of Trilogy Salon and Spa in Newark, DE, where he utilized his passion to make clients feel and look their best. He was a graduate of Elkton High School where he performed with the Elkton High Marching Band, was a member of the National Honor Society, graduating in the top 2 percent of his class, and graduated from Cecil College.

Allen had a love for cooking and enjoyed entertaining friends and family, often spending time with them over dinner or a glass of wine. His two cats, “Lily” and “Bijoux”, gave him great comfort and love. He loved traveling and had a deep appreciation for the arts and theatre.

Allen is survived by his mother, Bertha Cline; sisters, Debra Ross (William) and Sherry Crouse (Randy); brother, Lee Cline (Cathy); as well as many nieces, nephews; and grand-nieces and nephews. His partner of 10 years, Michael Kushner, will miss his spirit and friendship.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ottis Cline; brother, Martin Cline; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Goodbyes hurt the most when the story is not finished. A celebration of Allen’s life will be held at 12 Noon, Monday, January 22, 2018, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Interment will be private.
