Kimberly Ann Jones, 58, of Perryville, MD, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at home. Born Jan. 9, 1960 in Fort Lee, VA, she was the daughter of Nancy Thomas Barr of Perryville, MD, and the late Richard Barr.

Kim was retired from the V.A. Medical Center of Perry Point, MD, following 38 ½ years of service. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Susquehanna American Legion Post No. 135 of Perryville, MD, and a member of the Community Fire Company of Perryville, MD.

Kim is survived by her husband, Michael Jones, of Perryville, MD; son, Joseph Barr and his companion, Danielle Albanese, of North East, MD; daughters: Jeanie Jones, Heather Jones; six grandchildren: Patrick Lindsey, Evan Lindsey, Leviaz Deer, Serenity Swift, Jakob Barr and Madison Swift.

In addition to her father, Kim was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Barr.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Community Fire Company of Perryville, MD, and/or the Ladies Auxiliary to the Susquehanna American Legion Post No. 135 in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, November 16, 12 Noon, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, November 16, 10 a.m. until 12 Noon at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of the Wesley United Methodist Church of Elkton, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
