Ernest Phillip “Rusty” Clem, III, age 61, of Rising Sun, MD, was called home to our Lord on Monday, November 5, 2018. Born at Travis Air Force Base in California on January 17, 1957, he was the son of the late Ernest P., Jr. and Edna Schmit Clem.

Rusty retired from plastic manufacturing as an injection molding supervisor. He was a member of Faith Southern Baptist Church, Elkton, MD. Rusty loved watching his grandson play football. He also enjoyed playing drums at church, golfing, bowling, fishing, woodworking, and most of all, riding his motorcycle.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Bonnie Seel Clem; children, Michelle Rivers and Ernest “Rusty” Clem, IV, both of Rising Sun, MD; grandson, Henry “Tiger” Rivers; siblings, Roland Clem, Mount Holly, NJ, Kathy Brill, Eugene Clem, Denise Warrington, Bryant Clem, and Robert Clem, all of Elkton, MD; sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Faith Southern Baptist Church, 2494 Singerly Road, Elkton, MD.

In lieu of flowers and to assist with funeral expenses, contributions may be made payable to Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921.
