FRIGHTLAND ON TRAVEL CHANNEL
FRIGHTLAND PHOTO SPECIAL TO THE WHIG

The Delaware theme park Frightland will be featured on the Travel Channel show “America's Scariest Halloween Attractions 3” tonight at 7 p.m.

Frightland, right off Route 13 in Middletown, Del., has eight separate, absolutely terrifying attractions with people dressed in costumes that will give you nightmares. The scenes include The Escape, in which you watch an inmate escape from his electric chair and taunt onlookers with his animalistic ways, and the Town of Redemption, where you can witness human-butcher-shop scenes. Frightland is open this Friday and Saturday and then it will close for the season. Park admission is $20 per person for the haunted attractions, and $30 to also ride the rides. For more information about Frightland, visit www.frightland.com. (DO NOT take your small children to the park.)

Too scared to view it in the flesh? Keep your distance by watching it in the comfort of your home. But first, lock your doors …
