Christmas Cookies

Delicious homemade cookies, decorated for the season, are offered at only $3 a dozen at the annual Asbury UMC Christmas Cookie Sale and Open House.

PORT DEPOSIT — It happens but once a year. That blissful event that brings cookie connoisseurs to a tiny historic church on top of the hill between Port Deposit and Perryville.

The Asbury United Methodist Church annual Christmas Cookie Sale and Open House will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday at the church located at 21 Craigtown Road.

The cookies offered at Asbury UMC are always delicious homemade creations, often made using handed-down recipes by local home bakers. Cleverly decorated, they always sell fast.

To make sure you get your cookies, you can pre-order by calling 410-808-7914. Cookies are sold at $3 per dozen during this day of fellowship, food and fun, which will also feature special music throughout the day.

Complimentary beverages and a hot dogs will be available to all those who attend.
