Jessica & Edward Wieser

Jessica Ann (née Johnson) and Edward Alexander Wieser, of Chesapeake City, were joined in matrimony May 26, 2018, at Mount Harmon Plantation in Earleville.

Presiding over the ceremony was Bryan Horn, uncle of the bride.

Jessica’s mother, Deborah Horn, of Earleville, gave her away at the altar. Jessica’s father is Robert Johnson Jr., of Middletown, Del.

Edward’s parents are Monica and Jeffery Wieser, of Chesapeake City.

Jessica had two maids of honor — Cecilia Cole, of Newark, Del.; and Jackie Slavin, Wilmington, Del. — and four bridesmaids — Kelsey Mendell, of Landenberg, Pa.; Breanna Mendell, of Landenberg, Pa.; Danielle Barr, of Harrington, Del.; and Holly Lappe, of Earleville.

Edward also had two best men — Scott Seisler, of Chesapeake City, and Kevin Embon, of Earleville — and four groomsmen — Jeffery Breza Jr., Stevie George, Benjamin Bramhall, and Christian Lappe.

DJ Doug provided music for the ceremony and the reception, which was also held at Mount Harmon.

Following their wedding, the couple took a honeymoon trip to Vermont.

Jessica is a 2008 graduate of the Sanford School, 2012 graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience and a minor in biology minor, and a 2017 graduate of Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She completed her ocular disease residency at Wilmington VA Medical Center this year. In 2012, Jessica also earned a business certificate. Today, she works as an optometrist.

Edward is a 2008 graduate of Bohemia Manor High School and the Cecil County School of Technology’s HVAC/plumbing program. Today, he works as a HVACR service technician.
