On Friday, June 7, the Perryville Middle School Leos, sponsored by the Perryville Lions Club, made a donation of $575 to the Cecil County Public Library’s Perryville Branch Library’s “Teen Zone.” Literacy is one of the initiatives that Lions and Leos support on a continuing basis. This year, the Perryville Leos raised funds on election day and held a Dance-a-Thon to specifically support their local library. Many students go to the library at the end of their school day. The Leos felt strongly about supporting a program that serves their school as well as the community.
