The following local students were awarded Dean’s List academic honors for the spring 2019 semester at St. Mary’s College of Maryland: Gunther Prevost, of Conowingo; Lynx Gabinet-Bethoulle, of Elkton; Mira League, of Havre De Grace; Melinda Grant, of North East; Madalyn Wilkinson, of Perryville; and Madison Webb, of Rising Sun. Dean’s List honors are awarded to full-time students at St. Mary’s College who earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or better on 12 or more graded credits.

The Dean’s List for the spring semester at Bridgewater College has been announced by Leona A. Sevick, provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students on the Dean’s List have attained a 3.4 or better GPA of a possible 4.0. The following student from this area has excelled academically: Sarah A. Yashinskie, a senior majoring in health and exercise science, from North East.

Cedar Crest College congratulates dozens of students who were named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester of 2019. Among the students recognized is Madyson Lagano, of Elkton. The Dean’s List recognizes students who have earned a GPA of 3.65 or higher in the academic semester.

More than 1,750 students have been named to the spring 2019 Dean’s List at Kutztown University, including Olivia Lauren Smith, of Earleville. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum GPA of 3.60.

Marisa Hoober, a marketing major from Elkton, was named to the Dean’s Honor List at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. This recognition required Hoober to maintain a 3.75 minimum GPA while carrying at least 12 credit hours during spring semester 2019.

Nine hundred nineteen students were named to the Dean’s List at Shepherd University for the spring semester, including Jonathan R. Prematta, of Elkton, and Megan T. Malone, of North East. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must maintain a 3.4 GPA for the semester and carry at least 15 hours of coursework or be in a professional teaching block.

Rachel Marrs, of Port Deposit, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester at Clarion University of Pennsylvania. To earn placement on the dean’s list, students must be enrolled in at least 12 credits and earn a 3.5 GPA.
