Friday, June 21  

Smokin' and Shuckin,' 6 to 10 p.m., Richlin Catering and Event Center, 1700 Van Bibber Road, Edgewood. The Harford County Education Foundation will host an inaugural annual fundraiser, Smokin and Shuckin. Proceeds from the fundraiser will help support public school students. The old-fashioned country shindig will include barbecue chicken and ribs, oysters, a baked potato bar and an ice cream sundae bar. Beer and wine will be served. Summer Movie Nights, 7:15 to 10 p.m., Shamrock Park, 39 North Hickory Ave., Bel Air. Watch a movie under the stars. "Wonder" will be shown. The Bel Air Downtown Alliance’s Summer Movies Nights are fun for the whole family. The pre-movie entertainment starts at 7:15 p.m. and is provided by the Bel Air Cultural Arts Commission. Pyxis Piano Quartet, 8 to 10 p.m., The Cultural Center at the Opera House, 121 N Union Ave., Havre de Grace. This chamber ensemble will perform Handel-Halvorsen Passacaglia Duo for violin and cello, Mozart Piano Quartet in G minor and Piazzolla Histoire du Tango, arranged for Piano Quartet by Pyxis’ violinist Luigi Mazzocchi. Havre de Grace Farmers Market, 9 a.m. to noon, Hutchins Park, Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace. This producer-only farmers market runs Saturdays from the first week in May through the week prior to Thanksgiving. This course satisfies the requirements for operating a vessel on Maryland waters, and a Maryland Dept. of Natural Resources Certificate of Boating Safety is issued upon satisfactory completion. Gravity Youth Festival, 1 to 5 p.m., Susquehanna Lockhouse Museum, 817 Conesto St., Havre de Grace. The Havre De Grace Youth Commission will be hosting the inaugural Gravity Youth Festival. This is a free, fun-filled event geared toward the youth in our community.
