PORT DEPOSIT — Membership in the Cecil County Chapter of the NAACP has bloomed in the wake of a Ku Klux Klan meeting held in the county a week ago.
“Membership is going up,” said Elyse Murray, president of the local chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. “People say they’re disgusted and they want to get involved.”
